"When we were young, the weather was good. It used to rain. We used to grow potatoes, beans. We used to work the entire jungle out there. Now the climate is such that it doesn't rain on time. How do we grow anything? During those days, trade route with Tibet was open. We used to buy wool, goats from there. The price for a goat now is Rs.3,000/- to Rs.5,000/-. We used to buy it for Rs.500/- to Rs.300/- back then. We used to grow a lot of grains in our village earlier. We used to consume 'cheeda', 'phaapad', potatoes. Now, nothing grows."
