Himalayan VOICES High Himalaya FORUM Himalayan Heritage

“In Spiti you can study till high school and for higher education you have to go out side and it is not possible for all the children to go out because of financial problems. Education can never go to waste, but education till class twelve may not fetch you a good job or a bright future. We need some institutes and colleges for higher education and professional courses, only then education will be of any actual help.

Our children should get good higher education or professional degrees so that they can take part in competitive exams. There are only four government officers from the valley but I can assure you that if we provide good higher education to the next generation there will be many more.”
