An event organised to discussconceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental or theoretical works in all areas of Environmental and Renewable energy related but not limited to; renewable energies, green energy technology, electric power systems, economics of energy, sustainable agriculture, waste management, biodiversity and its conservation etc. Designed to be an interactive session this national event will help address environment problems caused by excessive use of fossil fuel energy and in turn minimise them by using renewable energy resources.

This year’s conference on Wetlands will be focusing on “Wetlands Biodiversity and Services: Tools for Socio-Ecological Development” to progress on developing basic knowledge and exchange experiences and tools for managing and integrating wetlands as part of socio-economic development.It will cover wide range of topics related to types of wetland, their ecology, management and applications with particular emphasis on wetland restoration, creation and the integration of wetlands with wide range of socio-ecological issues to mitigate global climate change

The theme of 2014 conference is, “Individual, Community and Society: Conflict, Resolution and Synergy” and will include variety of presenters representing a wide range of social science disciplines along with scholars in STEM disciplines (i.e., science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) inspiring multi-disciplinary collaborations in seeking solutions to complex issues and problems of the 21^st century

International Conference on Pro Mountainshas a central theme of “Nature and People: interactions, conflicts, consequences, solutions”, that will focus on important topic in tourism, respectively sustainable development, building a bridge between environment and tourism, nature and people debating all aspects generated by their interactions urging an international cooperation.

The international workshop on environmental conflictsaims to facilitate an interdisciplinary dialogue on subject of environmental conflicts and approaches towards their resolution in spatial planning for sustainable development. Three Plenary sessions will address, urban ecosystem services, land-use conflict anticipation and resolution, and role of conflicts and negotiations in environmental and land use. This international workshop will also be an opportunity to showcase the results of the national research project on “Modelling of environmental impact induced by the typologies of incompatible land uses in human settlements” along with field trips in Bucharest and Transylvania for a holistic approach in understanding various aspects of environmental conflicts.
