“I am very disappointed with the development taking place in my locality. The people, who have it all, get more. But the people, who need it, get nothing. There is still no road connecting my village to the city. How can I be happy about this?

There have been some changes in the village in the past ten years. We get electricity in our village now. The water situation has also improved but we still face water problems. Due to the establishment of cooperatives, we are able to get rice, wheat etc. in the village. But, our income has not improved. The health facilities definitely need improvement. Education, transport and water facilities should be available to everyone.
I think modern technology has helped us in many ways. Communication has improved with the coming of telephones and televisions. We can talk to one another easily. The television helps us connect to the outside world, as we get most of our global news from here. Transport has also improved, and now we can go from one place to another in cars.
These developments have had an impact on our culture and traditions. People have changed the way they speak, the way they dress and lawlessness has increased. Now, many people are even forgetting their language. ”
